Indiana State Police have released a new development in the Delphi murder investigation.
Detectives uncovered a social media account active for a two-year period that overlaps with the deaths of Abigail Williams and Liberty German.
The young girls went missing while walking the Delphi Historic Trail on February 13, 2017. Their bodies were found by volunteers the next day in a nearby wooded area.
Four years later, investigators are looking for anyone who may have communicated with social media accounts using the name “anthony_shots”.
ISP released the new information on Monday, saying the account was exploiting underage girls using photos of a famous male model and luxury cars. In the statement, investigators clarified, the male model has been identified and is not a person of interest in the case.
ISP believes the account tried to entice young girls to send nude pictures, share their addresses and even meet the person posing on “Anthony”.
However, investigators did not say whether Abigail or Liberty had any contact with the account.
Anyone who may have communicated with “antony_shots” on any social media platform between 2016 and 2017 is asked to contact law enforcement by emailing abbyandlibbytip@cacoshrf.com or calling 765-822-3535.
