US business magazine publisher – Fast Company’s content management system (CMS) was hacked on Tuesday night. The publisher’s website was hacked two days earlier on Sunday. FastCompany confirmed both cyberattacks through a post on Twitter. As the fastcompany.com website remains inaccessible, it shows a 404 error.
After accessing the publisher’s CMS, the hackers sent push notifications to Apple News, which is Apple’s news aggregation service. Racist and obscene push notifications were sent one minute apart. “The posts are despicable and inconsistent with Fast Company’s content and philosophy,” the newspaper said. Fast Company is investigating the incident and has shut down its website until the issue is resolved.

Two days before this attack, the publishing house’s website was attacked for the first time, when “Similar language” appeared on the homepage and other pages, FastCompany had to shut down the website for two hours to solve the problem.
