Mitú, an English-Language, Latino-Focused Media Company, Hires Rebellious PR

LOS ANGELES: English-language Latin media company Mitú, which targets Latin millennials in the United States, has named Rebellious PR as its communications AOR.

The agency will be responsible for directing media efforts on behalf of Mitú, including those regarding its hiring, campaigns and offers, and it will also oversee the reputation of the Mitú brand.

Rebellious won the account after competitive review with “at least one other agency,” a Rebellious spokesperson said. Chatter Republic previously worked with the media company. Rebellious declined to share what other agencies participated in the review.

The account, which is “medium-sized”, according to the firm, will be managed by Abigail Idiaquez, senior account manager at Rebellious PR.

Latido Networks, part of GoDigital Media Group, acquired Mitú early last year in an effort to grow her Latinx following, according to Billboard.
