Nylon Consulting is a New York-based PR and social media boutique that works with design brands in the home and lifestyle industries. Our clients are interior designers and product companies ranging in size from start-ups to heritage luxury brands.
We are looking for an Account Manager to join our growing Social Media Division who will manage a group of clients with the support of an Account Coordinator. This role will develop a social media strategy, influencer marketing campaigns, monthly content calendars and all reporting and insights across a variety of accounts. They will work directly with the agency owner and work alongside another account manager to ensure the agency is aware of platform strategy ideas and best practices.
REQUIRED SKILLS

• 4+ years of agency experience in a social media role working across multiple accounts
• Deep understanding of the Instagram platform – algorithm updates and preferences, in app tools such as Reels, attractive Instagram story tools
• Experience in Instagram strategy – an understanding of the various tactics used to support KPIs
• Experience in executing an influencer marketing campaign – selecting influencers based on strategy, creating and executing a campaign to support messaging and reporting to reflect ROI
• Working knowledge of Pinterest – algorithm updates and preferences, tactics used to support KPIs
• Experience creating and implementing content calendars and social media posting on behalf of a client
• Experience in monthly reporting – creating reports and explaining information to clients
• Ability to create Instagram Reels and Stories with graphics processing
• Highly organized – this role will be to manage the delivery of day-to-day work across multiple clients. Attention to detail, a strong memory, an ability to listen to a customer, and an understanding of management both up (the company founder) and down (the account coordinator) are essential.
BONUS SKILLS
• Working knowledge of Canva, Sprout Social, Tagger and above
• Paid experience on social networks
• Experience managing creative requests with an external content creator
• Experience with meta tags and shoppable posts on Instagram and Pinterest
• Experience in luxury
• Experience in managing a direct report
