Title: Senior Multimedia Account Manager
Department: Sales
• We are looking for an energetic and highly motivated cross-platform sales professional.
• Candidate must have strong presentation and communication skills, experience working with advertising agencies, growing market share and closing new businesses and digital.
• Sell television time and digital/new media for WCCO-TV and all digital platforms, including WCCO.com and CBSN-Minnesota. Generate revenue with new accounts by prospecting businesses.
• Sell in 14 markets owned and operated by the CBS Television Stations group (multi-market selling).
• Achieve monthly/quarterly sales targets.
• Create, develop and maintain strong working relationships with clients.
• Effectively seek out and cultivate new business clienteles.
• Develop sales tools to effectively present and position the television station during the sales process.
• Manage all documents in a timely manner.
• Other assigned tasks.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
• Persuasiveness, sales ability, results orientation, ability to demonstrate leadership and team values.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, computer proficiency required.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Previous experience selling media/sponsorships.
• Media experience (3+ years) preferred.
