This is a rare opportunity to join a small, passionate and creative team, where you will work alongside a range of client brands.
As a Social Media Account Manager, you will work closely with our team to help our clients deliver killer social media content. Your main responsibilities will be to manage the production of social media photo shoots and social media accounts, being part of the dedicated team for a defined portfolio of our Melbourne based clients.
A day in your role at Ivy Social would involve:
- Communicate with customers, build strong relationships and develop a deep understanding of their business needs.
- Planning and management of content creation photoshoots with our on-site photographer at clients (approximately 3 full-day photoshoots per month).
- Plan and write social media content to help your clients achieve their business goals.
- Report and analyze the success of clients’ social media accounts.
- Manage social media projects such as influencer partnerships, video shoots and creative projects on behalf of your client portfolio.
You will be our ideal person for the position if you have:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, which enable you to build and maintain strong relationships with our clients. You will support this with account management or a strong customer service background.
- Experience managing content creation photoshoots or creative projects, or producing digital content, such as Instagram reels.
- A knack for writing hard-hitting social media captions (impeccable spelling and grammar are essential!).
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail with the ability to stay focused when managing competing priorities.
- Degree in marketing, public relations, business, media production, journalism, advertising or communications, or strong relevant industry experience.
- A deep love and passion for social media.
- A strong sense of self-motivation, with a proactive, “can do” attitude.
These things aren’t essential, but would be an extra gold star for your app:
- Experience managing social media accounts for brands.
- Experience in Facebook advertising and Facebook business manager.
- Experience in graphic design and solid understanding of the importance of branding.
