From theme parks like Walt Disney World Resort and Disneyland Resort to the Disney + streaming service to ABC News and ESPN, there are dozens of verified Disney accounts on various social platforms like Twitter, Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook.

Today, a verified Twitter account for the Disney | ABC Photo department came out of a nearly two-year hiatus for a seemingly odd reason: to publicly criticize a Disney fan site for a recent post.
Chris, Twitter user! at the rope drop shared a screenshot from the original post, in which the official ABC account commented on the Tweet from a fan site that did not feature a photo of Walt, but instead featured two older ones. CEOs of Walt Disney Company – Bob Iger and Michael Eisner. The comment says:
And where is the photo of Walt Disney? It is a terrible oversight. Walt Disney was a genius and truly loved America and the world. Please update your message !!

Regardless of what actually happened – or whether the comment was supposed to be posted by the official Disney | ABC account – the incident undeniably amused the internet.
